Abstract
The article gives a modern definition of nosocomial infection (VBI), presents the factors and risk groups for the development of nosocomial infection among puerperas and newborns. It is noted that expressed milk, artificial feeding can serve as a factor of transmission of infection, mainly through the hands of medical personnel. The necessity of the use of modern individual breast pumps for the prevention of VBI and preservation of lactation in the puerperium.
