DIAGNOSTIC FEATURES OF AUTOIMMUNE GASTRITIS IN CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS

The article presents modern approaches to the diagnosis of autoimmune gastritis in children and adolescents. The questions of epidemiology, pathogenesis of pathomorphology, endoscopic and laboratory manifestations of this disease are covered. A detailed assessment of the diagnostic value of antiparietal antibodies in autoimmune gastritis is given. It is concluded that autoimmune gastritis is one of the least studied variants of chronic gastritis in children and adolescents, which in the early stages of its development has no informative symptoms, which causes significant difficulties in its diagnosis.
