Abstract
The biodegradable bone replacement material was derived from three main components: silk fibroin Bombyx mori, calcium phosphates, and casein. Regenerative properties of the matrices were evaluated in experiments on rats during implantation into bone defects. According to x ray tomography, the use of biodegradable material provided the restoration of the integrity of the bone in a faster time. Analysis of the histograms obtained from the defect area also showed more pronounced regeneration processes when filling bone defects with biocompatible material compared to the control group.
